Labor Finders in Chula Vista is IMMEDIATELY looking to hire an experienced PRODUCT ESTIMATOR to work for an area company that has an urgent need.

Position: Product Estimator (Manufacturing)

Pay: $60,000-$70,000 / HOUR Start Date: ASAP

Length: Long-Term, Temp-To-Hire Opportunity

JOB OVERVIEW: The PROJECT ESTIMATOR needs to have knowledge, thorough understanding, and experience with the various materials & material grades used in the production process (i.e. steel plate, steel sheet, flanges & fittings).

Additional skills / experience / knowledge required:

• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• General manufacturing experience.
• Understanding of welding, machining, inspection and general manufacturing
• Solid ability to read and understand Complicated Drawings and Specifications
• Be efficient working in Excel Spread sheets to complete Estimates
• Contacting Suppliers/Vendors and submitting RFQ'S
• Knowledge of DFARS, Military, Made in America Standards etc.,
• Great Work Ethic
• Great Attendance
• 5 years experience is preferred
• Works well with others
• Multitasking - fast paced environment

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform the job duties listed above.
• Possess the skills, experience and/or requirements listed above.
