HPE GreenLake Cloud Services provides enterprises the capabilities to innovate, consume and run both modern and legacy workloads in hybrid/multi-cloud environments. The products we are focused on are at the forefront of exciting industry changes going on right now. We are looking for a passionate GreenLake Product Manager to oversee the enhancement and expansion of the HPE GreenLake for Azure Stack HCI and Google Anthos offers.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the design of a fully functional GreenLake offer that clearly differentiates HPE from its competitors, capitalizes on the latest innovations from HPE business units, integrates the capabilities of 3rd party software, provides a compelling mix of HPE service experience to manage the customer environment and ultimately returns a healthy margin.
- Oversee as-a-Service offer development through product lifecycle including conformance to pricing strategies, end-to-end service delivery and sales readiness and associated processes.
- Work with domain leads to develop the vision and concepts for the evolution of the GreenLake for Azure / Google as-a-Service offers.
- Work with GreenLake go-to-market to embed the offer into the sales and presales organizations and support the first early adopter deals.
- Work across regions/geographies to develop and/or enhance as-a-Service offers to meet emerging customer/market needs and fuel profitable growth.
- Responsible for revenue and margin contribution for a set of (more than one) solutions or services.
- Utilize technical and business skills to manage complex cross- functional activities that have a high impact on the services business.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Organizational knowledge of GreenLake business units (GLCSS, GMS, A&PS, Operations, etc.) and HPE business units (Compute, Storage, Networking).
- In-depth knowledge of the HPE, services offerings, configure-price-quote tools and routes to market.
- Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide solution guidance. Although the job is initially focused on Azure and Google additional domains may be assigned in time.
- Strong team work skills, ability to gain alignment and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects.
- Exceptional skills in cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation and analysis.
- Strong skills in exercising independent judgment.
- Solid understanding of product lifecycle management stages.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with and ability to convey thoughts and ideas clearly, concisely and compellingly.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study. In addition, the completion of MBA or business related study a plus.
- 5+ years of work experience in related field.
- Proven ability to define and execute a business strategy that drives operational excellence & profit.
- Demonstrated experience leading people and teams on complex projects.
