We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced product management professional to support accelerated penetration of key portfolio products into the global markets we serve. In this role you will be Voice of the Customer and a Champion of Market Needs, translating both into requirements for Product Development and general Business Opportunities, preparing and supporting Product Launches and orchestrating portfolio Life-Cycle Management aligned with the overall goals of the enterprise.

Responsibilities

· Identify and synthesize global market trends to include market demand.

· Create and develop relationships and trust with strategic partners and key customers.

· Perform in depth Training Needs Analysis supporting the ideation and definition of New Product Introductions (NPIs).

· Own the business case for NPIs (definition, approval, strategy, communication, execution).

· Product Development Interface – Interface between the market/customers and Product Development.

· Work with systems engineering to develop design requirements for NPIs.

· Support clinical evaluations and product validation for all products in the portfolio.

· Development of NPIs’ global marketing and launch plans.

· Preparation of product positioning statements (to include Unique Selling Points).

· Draft (Product) competitive assessments.

· Ownership and deployment of a comprehensive education and training plan for internal sales/customer service and distributor network on key portfolio products.

· Product Portfolio Lifecycle Management.

· Establish and report on Portfolio Performance Metrics.

· Ensure overall Customer Satisfaction with Portfolio Products.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Business/Health/Science/Marketing.

· Prior experience as a product manager or junior/associate product manager (3 -5 years minimum).

· Work effectively with cross-functional teams.

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written in English.

· Demonstrable experience launching and managing successful products.

· Ability to work independently, self-starter and comfortable as team leader.

· Capacity and flexibility to work with an outside marketing communications agency.

· Problem solver - not afraid to make tough decisions.

· Expert at managing tight deadlines.

· Able to rapidly develop in-depth understanding of entire product portfolio and its position in the marketplace.

· Understands fundamental product profitability considerations including gross margins and P&L statements.

· Experience working with Subject Matter Experts and Key Opinion Leaders.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Assets - these would be a plus

· MBA

· RN, LPN, EMT or CPR certification advantageous.

· Prior Marketing and/or Sales experience a plus.

· Understanding of the Medical Education & Simulation Business/Industry.

· Fluency with foreign languages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
