Job Title: Product Manager - Computing Solutions

Department: Product Management

Accountability: This position reports to the Senior Product Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead Product Life Cycle Management activities for Docking Stations, Peripherals, Technology Packages and more, including but not limited to planning & forecasting, pricing, discontinuation, data analysis, and regular reviews of gross margin & sales activity
• Support company’s Technology Product Road Map by reviewing 1-3-5 year planning horizons for Computing Solutions products
• Create Market Requirements Documents for product development projects and participate in the generation of Product Requirement Documents and Phase Gate Reviews
• Participate in Competitive Analysis and Product Benchmarking activities
• Maintain computer OEM partner product road maps for internal usage
• Assist with program development and generate content for product training sessions
• Provide features and benefits information for new products
• Uphold corporate naming convention standards by assigning product IDs
• Collaborate with Product Sales Engineers to create product compatibility matrixes
• Work with other departments to coordinate product launch activities, marketing campaigns, events, etc.
• Other tasks or projects as assigned by Senior Product Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of product management experience (technical products preferred)
• Dynamic, energetic, and able to communicate effectively in groups and individually
• Ability to work effectively with internal and external partners
• Independent self-starter with exceptional problem-solving skills
• Exceptional presentation skills both live and online (Webinar)
• Experience with Product/Project management & CRM software
• Willingness to travel (~25%)
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
