Job Description:

As a Production Scheduler you will be responsible for coordinating all the activities that are required for UPI to meet it’s growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Use Epicor ERP Scheduling applications to schedule work orders based on available plant resources, available inventory, equipment and production work schedules, while meeting customer demand.
• Understand production parameters in detail: Travelers, revisions, resources, lead times, alternate resources, float and calendars.
• Publish the schedule to Production Team and communicate with production to ensure schedule is attained.
• Update the schedule daily.
• Report by exception scheduled activities that do not start on time.
• Give a brief update on the status of all late activities at the schedule update meeting.
• Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure the schedule is executed.
• Utilize long term planning system to identify, communicate and lead issues of capacity constraints.

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of three years manufacturing scheduling experience.
• A minimum of 1 year hands on manufacturing experience.
• Epicor experience.
• Google cloud software experience: Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.
• Familiarity with metal manufacturing including cutting, forming, welding, machining and coating.

Details

• Position is full time, first shift.
• Working hours are 7AM - 3:30PM M-F
• Some overtime may be required as necessary.
• Following probation, benefits include health insurance, a 401k w/ match, 7 holidays and 12 vacation days per year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
