Broad Function and Purpose of Position:
Responsibility and authority to stop production to correct quality problems for you assigned production line
Responsible for safe operations of the production department when only Supervisor on duty
Responsible for the storing of raw materials and finished goods and identification of materials
Ensuring that production scheduled for his line is met
Responsible for supervising and training production employees for assigned area
Trouble shooting technical failures
Ensure that quality requirements are met
Assist in developing technical improvements
Handle employee issues as they arise in a professional manner
Correct and approve employee’s timecards
Approve or deny employee vacation/PTO time
