Responsibilities:
To oversee and drive the day-to-day donation and production operations of the store to meet or exceed budget while in compliance with company standards, policies and procedures. Responsible for converting donations into revenue while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized working environment.

1. To effectively supervise production employees so that daily production goals are met.

2. To effectively supervise donation attendants so that all donors receive proper attention.

3. To ensure donations are processed in such a way to maximize sales and minimize waste.

4. To monitor waste output and ensure salable merchandise is not discarded.

5. To conduct quality checks on merchandise before it is placed on the sales floor.

6. To monitor the loading and unloading of trucks.

7. To monitor back room supply levels and assist with ordering supplies when needed.

8. To ensure proper rotation of store merchandise.

9. To ensure all donations are processed expediently from the donation door to the sales floor.

10. To maintain safe and appropriate conditions in the shopping and back room areas.

11. To keep the store clean and hazard free including cleaning the restrooms.

12. To observe and ensure compliance with personnel and safety policies and procedures.

13. To be able to perform the job duties of Level I and Level II employees.

14. To use cash register to total sales, accept payment, authorize voids, returns, exchanges and credits for merchandise when required.

Key holder Duties

15. To ensure the hourly floor check and monthly safety self-inspections are conducted.

16. To ensure all new hires are properly oriented, using the appropriate manual, within the first week of employment. To document that training occurred.

17. To assist the store manager in controlling the expense to revenue ratio monthly and annually.

18. To assist in training of sales associates and court-appointed community service workers, as assigned by the store manager.

19. To assist in supervising, disciplining and recommending discharge of sales associates.

20. To record and balance cash register receipts, make bank deposits and record store transactions.

21. To assist in the preparation of personnel and payroll records in a timely manner. To complete accurately other paperwork required in the day-to-day operation of the store.

22. To assist the store manager in achieving/exceeding sales goals both monthly and annually and to assist in implementing a contingency plan if goals are not being met.
