Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Program Manager II to support the Office of Connected Care (OCC) at the Department of Veterans Affairs. The OCC brings VA digital technology to veterans and health care professionals, extending access to care beyond the traditional office visit. Through virtual technology, VA can deliver care to patients where and when they need it. In this role, you will be responsible for managing overall contract support operations, leading multiple projects and teams of personnel, and ensuring the successful completion of contract support activities. Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, involving multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations.
- Organize, direct, and coordinate the planning and production of all contract support activities.
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, effectively interfacing with various stakeholders.
- Exercise authority and responsibility to identify and commit resources required to support project efforts.
- Establish and modify (as necessary) corporate management structure to direct effective contract support activities.
- Craft and enforce a comprehensive quality control program to ensure consistent and high-quality deliverables.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance, implementing improvements when necessary.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of professional experience in project or program management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and teams simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with various stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Outlook, etc).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Have experience managing programs in the VA - OR - Have experience managing VA telehealth or VA home health - OR - Have experience in a commercial setting in the management or development of digital health products and/or programs
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
- Experience working with government agencies or in the health care industry.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
- Experience in managing virtual or telehealth projects.

Eligibility:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role
Compensation:
Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Salary range: $150,000 - $175,000
