Salary Range: $61.8800 - $102.0800 /hour

We are building an Institutional Medical Education Department to develop and manage an array of fellowships in addition to incredible CME opportunities with a Privademic Model as our base. Privademics is a practice model that offers academically-inclined physicians the advantage of having the resources of an academic center while having the ability and option to independently maintain control of the business aspects of the practice.
Working with the Senior Program Manager and the Medical Director for Institutional Medical Education, the Fellowship Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing post-graduate educational activities at Hoag Hospital to ensure compliance with requirements for accreditation in Graduate Medical Education (GME), specifically the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). The Fellowship Coordinator will also be responsible for the management of the monthly Grand Rounds lectures, training labs, and the coordination and management of all administrative aspects of the Fellowship programs.
You will work side-by-side with an incredible team of innovative and dedicated professionals to build a world-class program. The program will extend through both the Newport Beach and Irvine campuses of Hoag Hospital, ultimately requiring your presence at both, but the primary office location for this position is at our Irvine campus. This location provides you with easy public transportation options, free parking and a stunningly beautiful location that is in the midst of tremendous physical expansion.
Education and Experience
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Health Care Administration,
Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or related field.
- Five (5) years of progressive experience (or master’s degree with at least 2-3 years’ experience)
in job-category related experience.
- Experience working with Continuing Medical Education, and Graduate Medical Training
accreditation agencies.
- 2 years of management experience.

Comprehensive expertise in Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and
the Institute of Medical Quality (IMQ)/California Medical Associate (CMA) regulations and
standards.
- Familiarity with International Conference of Harmonization (ICH) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Health Care Administration,
Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of director-level experience in Continuing Medical Education, and Graduate Medical
Training.
- Experience submitting IRB applications (new and amendments), knowledge of clinical trial federal,
state, and local regulation requirements.
Licenses Required
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance as travel to physician offices
and hospital locations is required for specific job duties.

Certified Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education (TAGME)
Certifications Preferred
- Active human subjects protection training certification (CITI or NIH).
