Project Manager

The position includes working on projects that require judgment, independent evaluation, adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Candidates should be able to apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of bridge and wastewater engineering assignments and related fields. The ability to make decisions on engineering problems and methods and represent the organization in project meetings with clients to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work.

Job Functions:
- Serve in a Project Manager role including the planning analysis and design of bridge, wastewater, and other structural projects ranging from conventional to innovative types.
- Review design calculations, construction cost estimates, and plans developed by other Engineers.
- Oversee engineers utilizing civil engineering design softwares.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Coordinate with company leadership and clients to ensure project objectives are clearly defined, and requirements are met.
- Identify project risks and develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate potential impacts.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against milestones.
- Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, and other project-related documentation for company leadership and clients.
- Manage project change requests and ensure that all changes are properly documented and communicated to company leadership and clients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and procedures.
- Coach and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support as required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong technical skills in Engineering analysis and design combined with a proven background of technical leadership on civil engineering projects.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and civil engineering software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, and/or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineering License.
- 4-5 years of structural design and consulting experience.
Desired:
- 7-10 years of structural design and consulting experience.
- Leadership experience.
Salary Range:
- $88,000 - $108,000
