About the Job
One of our clients (a world-leading HCM platform provider) is looking for a self-motivated professional to assist their Production team as a Project Manager. This person will collaborate with translators and work closely with the Language Project Managers. The successful candidate will be able to run independently large and complex projects while having a stakeholder-facing role.
You will join a fast-paced, highly collaborative team of translators and project managers.
Job Description
- Assist with translation project management
- Interact effectively with peers, translators and other stakeholders
- Report issues with translation tools and document enhancements
- Acquire and maintain technical knowledge as well as product knowledge in order to offer basic support to translators when needed
- Review and assess issues raised by translators and assign to subject matter expert
- Track and support project deliverables, directly following up with translators to ensure all deadlines are met in a timely manner
- Documentation and update of training and translation procedures
Qualifications
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Excellent English language skills
- A degree in Translations
- 4+ years of project management experience in the localization industry, familiar with translation and localization processes
- Detail-oriented, with a technical aptitude
- Proactive and personable
- Experience with CAT tools such as memoQ and Memsource is a plus
- Available between (2pm-11pm CET / 5am-2pm PST / 8am-5pm EST), 30-40 hours per week (6-8 hours/day)
