Job Title: Project Manager – Technology Operations
Reports To: VP, Technology Operations
Department: Technology Operations
Location: Baltimore, MD

SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-managed individual to become part of a global team. This individual will be responsible for managing deliverables from our Technology Operations team. The candidate will also engage with our largest clients for delivering internal releases and client driven releases within our environment. They will work with internal teams to ensure optimum service delivery, resulting in maximum productivity and client satisfaction. The role will also act as the Scrum Master for multiple infrastructure and operations teams to align with our Shared Services with the existing SAFe development methodology.

You should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, an ability to present and discuss technical information with all levels of the business in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding. As such, you must be a positive, energetic leader who excels in working in a collaborative environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management:

• Quickly learn existing client practices and application dependencies for top clients
• Meet with internal client success team and clients to align target deliverables
• Report on pertinent service level agreements with client deliverables
• Manage projects and scheduling for Prometric delivery of client software to global sites
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Ensure resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
• Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues

Scrum Master:

• Manage each project team’s scope and timeline
• Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
• Coach team members in Agile frameworks
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
• Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
• Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Essential Qualifications & Skills
• Experience in a scrum master role and excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
• Ability to drive various technology operations projects to support organizational goals
• Experience managing Microsoft Azure DevOps
• Proven working experience in project management
• Project management tool experience (MS Project, Wrike)
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills both oral and written
• Sound decision making with the ability to work under minimum supervision
• Detail oriented and attention to detail

Desired Qualifications & Experience

• Scrum certifications
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
• Understanding of production centralized system while operating distributed delivery model
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or relevant industry experience
