POSITION: Regional Staffing Manager

LOCATIONS: Can be based in either Reno, NV / Greater Atlanta, GA / Greater Salt Lake City, UT

POSITION SUMMARY

The Regional Staffing Manager is responsible for coordinating the assignment of new projects to project staffing, ensuring that projects are assigned in a timely manner to appropriate project staff, and helping to manage the work loads of Project Managers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

§ Project Assignment:

· Assign new jobs to Project Manager

· Prioritize projects and manage workloads

· Review contracts, client and project requirements in the company’s internal database, and additional information regarding the project requirements

· Confirm information using online resources (Geotracker, county assessor websites and Google Maps) or by reviewing previous reports

· Review the qualifications of each Project Manager, including calendar for availability, traveling locations, scheduled training and/or vacation before assigning new projects

§ Communication and Coordination:

· Maintain positive working relationships with Project Managers to stay aware of any delays, assistance required, preferences, or specific goals they may have for any given month

· Act as a liaison between the Regional Directors and Project Managers. Provide updates on any information that may affect the Project Manager’s ability to meet their utilization goal. Work with Regional Director to obtain training and/or mentoring for Project Managers

· Constantly communicate with the sales teams to assist with bidding on potential jobs, providing timing, scope, and staffing information

§ Utilization:

· Become familiar with the utilization goals for each Project Manager and occasionally use a bonus calculator to ensure that the Project Managers are on track to reach monthly goals

· Partner with Project Managers and Regional Directors as needed to help get the Project Manager as close to their goal as possible

§ Additional responsibilities:

· Assist and work with other Regional Staffers on more challenging projects and portfolios

· Provide divisional support on projects covered in-house. This includes switching projects around to distribute and maintain steady workloads

· Participate in monthly calls with division leaders

· Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor centered on exceptional customer service skills

· Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

· Excellent writing, scheduling, organization, and time management skills

· Eagerness and willingness to learn and perform new tasks

· Professional demeanor and outstanding communication and customer service skills

· Previous experience successfully performing similar job responsibilities preferred

· Advanced Microsoft® Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) knowledge and abilities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The work environment may be both indoors and outdoors. Indoor work takes place in a typical office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Outdoor work requires the ability to effectively perform work in all types of weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, type, handle office and/or field equipment, speak and hear. The employee may occasionally be required to stand, walk, balance, kneel or crouch. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to focus.
