The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity (SPSSOD) is operated under an affiliation agreement between the University of St. Thomas, the Saint Paul Seminary and the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. The vision, mission and core values are as follows:

JOB SUMMARY
This role will provide psychological services including counseling, training, teaching, and consultation to seminarians at Saint Paul Seminary and to the formation team.
This person will also provide such services to priests in conjunction with the Institute for Ongoing Clergy formation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide individual growth counseling to seminarians and priests
- Facilitate group growth counseling and psychoeducation seminars
- Provide consultation and training to formation staff
- Conduct workshops and training in conjunction with the Institute for Ongoing Clergy formation
- Assist in screening and interviewing for as part of the admissions process
- Assist the Director of Counseling with special projects and administrative functions as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a field of psychological counseling
- Commensurate licensure in incumbent’s field of training
- Interested and capable of working within a framework of a Catholic Anthropology
- Have an understanding of the demands of seminary formation and priestly life
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or eligible for legally required exemption such as a medical or religious reason.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in working successfully with these populations
