Full-Time Position: Purchasing Associate

Position Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

We are currently seeking a full-time Purchasing Associate to join our team in Boerne, Texas. Our team enjoys a motivating, friendly and energetic environment. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares, processes and tracks purchase orders per buyers’ specifications
• Manages and monitors approved purchase orders from requisition to invoice reconciliation including payment authorization
• Maintains accurate electronic files to document purchasing activity
• Possesses the ability to ensure accurate maintenance of the inventory database
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills with vendors, team members and managers
• Utilizes Windows software applications such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Possesses the ability to work independently to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects
• Demonstrates the ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Assists in maintaining a clean, neat and organized environment
• Enjoys working as part of a team and takes initiative with minimal supervision
• Supports all areas of operational excellence
• Protects company assets and maintains a safe work environment
• Follows all company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal employment laws

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous Purchasing and data entry experience preferred
• Friendly, out-going, open-minded, engaging personality
• Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to receive feedback and take action when appropriate
• Basic math and computer proficiency
