Experis are currently working with an award-winning veteran AAA games studio in the UK who are on the lookout for 3 new Customer Service QAs to work within their Customer Support team! Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, this position is crucial in ensuring their players have a positive experience and return to them, time and time again. The aim is to strengthen their customer support by widening their scope and skills to assist customers concerns more rapidly directly, and internally triage and resolve issues to minimise player impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the CS team, communicating effectively with players, and internal/external teams
- Answer support tickets, whilst balancing the needs of players and peers, creating technical bug reports to assist the development team investigate new issues and identifying and escalating patterns of more widespread issues
- Assist in Terms of Service breach investigations
- Troubleshoot and provide technical support where relevant
- Create and update training and gameplay documentation
- Drive ongoing process improvements, integrate more strongly across QA and development teams, seek automation to increase throughput and understanding of customer queries
- Provide a positive and professional attitude under pressure, demonstrating integrity and being a role model for others
Sought-after experience & qualifications:
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills, self-organised, demonstrating ownership and drive
- Logical trouble-shooter
- Technical support or customer service/moderation experience
- Experience in Project Management, Software Quality Assurance or Safety and Compliance
- Strong interest in PC and/or console gaming
- Understanding of online customer service operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows/Office and presentation tools
- Previous experience of services or online multiplayer titles is beneficial, as is having worked closely with a cross-discipline development team
- Passionate but level-headed, self-motivated, articulate, a collaborative team player, investigative, committed to self-improvement
Details around the role:
- 18 Month initial contract
- Equivalent salary of £30,000 – £35,000 (DoE) – broken down into day rate
- Flexible start date
- Remote
- Accrued 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
