Northwest Respiratory Services is a leading provider of oxygen & respiratory products throughout the Midwest & Northern Rockies. We are currently in search of a Compliance/Quality Assurance Manager with experience and knowledge of regulations around DOT, Hazmat, and Joint Commission.

Working from our Eagan, MN office, this role will support the entire NRS business, which includes 30 branches. This role will be responsible for compliance to current regulations, as well as adjusting processes and documentation as needed when regulations are updated. The Compliance/Quality Assurance Manager should plan to visit each branch twice per year to complete compliance audits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a quality system, including policies and procedures, that is in compliance with regulations and supports providing quality products and services to our customers.
  • Perform audits twice per year at each branch to assess compliance and provide feedback on improvements.
  • Support branches with corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Main point of contact for regulatory agencies.
  • Assess training compliance to regulations.
  • Maintain current regulations required for NRS.
    • Includes but not limited to, joint commission, DOT, FDA, NFPA, and HIPPA codes.
  • Remain objective and provide consistent communication across departmental boundaries and to all levels of management.


Our top candidates will have:

  • An in-depth understanding of DOT, FDA, NFPA, and HIPPA codes and guidelines relevant to Respiratory and Oxygen Medical Equipment industry
  • 3 or more years in Quality Assurance or a similar role
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a motor vehicle records check, background check, and drug test

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years' medical equipment or medical device experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and statistical skills.
  • Good computer skills and experience with relevant software programs.
  • Effective communication and multitasking skills.
  • Dedication to objectivity.
