Mission:

The Loading Inspector is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading of goods onto transport vehicles. This role involves inspecting the loading of goods to ensure they are accounted for, and that the load is balanced and stable. The Loading Inspector must also verify that all necessary paperwork, reports, and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Primary Functions and Responsibilities

• Inspection of material as it is being loaded onto the truck for transport which involves visual inspection, verification for quality, and verification of quantity.
• Verification of the loaded material to ensure that it will not be damaged during transportation as well as witnessing the loading material prior to shipment.
• The inspector will also take photos and videos of loaded parts.
• Document and fill out an inspection report.

Key Criteria/Requirements

• This is an entry-level position with an opportunity for training and advancement
• Must be able to climb up and down on trucks to verify parts.
• Reports directly to Quality Team Lead and is responsible for reporting and analyzing data
• Must have computer skills for entering and uploading inspection data
• Operate a video camera to record parts loaded and upload files to job folder
• Ability to Work well in a Team oriented environment.
