Job description
An award-winning and patient care centered hospital in the high desert area is actively interviewing for a new Radiographer.

This heavily decorated hospital has earned numerous awards for units throughout their facility, including the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) accreditation for its commitment to quality, and the honor of being announced one of the first hospitals in California to receive accreditation from Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Healthcare, Inc. In addition, this hospital is accredited in many areas, but notably has a glowing record in their Radiology Department. The Radiographer will join an organization with an outstanding reputation in the community and across California.

The Radiographer will report directly to the Manager of Radiology. This person will be supported by their Manager and multiple Board Certified Physicians all working together to provide comprehensive care to this specific population of patients. This Radiographer will have the opportunity to continue growth and development of their career under the direction and mentorship of a great team in a world-class department.

This well developed Radiology Department consists of state of the art technology, servicing a 150+ bed hospital. The Radiographer will join a department that is known for excellent patient care and playing a significant role in diagnostic imaging and early intervention.

The Radiographer is expected to prepare the patients for imaging, select appropriate equipment, determine most appropriate positions anatomically and follow radiation safety procedures to best protect the patient. The Radiographer will need to be able to accurately learn new procedures and protocols in a timely manner, and retain the knowledge of new skills and execute changes.

The high desert area is known for some of the best sunsets in the country and warm sunny days. This hospital sits in a fast growing town with a suburban feel and gorgeous parks. If the Radiographer is someone who loves nature, there are loads of hiking trails to explore in this desert oasis. The hospital is perfectly situated in Central Southern California, making it easily accessible to multiple other cities to visit. The town offers California living at a much more affordable price. There is nothing better than this area's ideal climate, and community atmosphere.

The Radiographer role is being offered a competitive salary in addition to a generous benefits package.
