We have a substantive vacancy for a Radiology Department Assistant to join our busy but friendly Radiology Department. We are looking for someone who is able to work under pressure and who is happy to work as part of a team. Please read the job description for the full role.

The Radiology Department provides imaging for the whole hospital including the In patients, Out Patients Department and the referred patients from GP’s.

The successful candidate would be expected to work in Ultrasound, MRI, X-Ray, and CT. Please refer to the job description and person specifications.

Please note that this post will involve rotation to CMH as part of the roster and involve night duties.

  • To assist radiologists and sonographers undertaking diagnostic examinations.
  • To provide care for the patient whilst maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • To support a high quality clerical and clinical support service when required to the radiology department.
