Reporting to the Supervisor, you will work with a team of approximately 15 staff members at The Cheesecake Factory Bakery in Rocky Mount, NC. As the Warehouse/Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the preparation and processes needed to ship products to our customers, receive products from production and perform other warehouse functions using forklifts and pallet jacks for a bakery with more than 600 total staff members that create delicious cheesecakes and memorable experiences.

Responsibilities
Here’s more of what you’ll get to do:
- Promote and effectively communicate our safety policies and standards.
- Maintain and promote a clean and litter free warehouse at all times and in all areas as needed.
- Inform the supervisor of any unauthorized personnel in the warehouse and effectively communicates any risks noticed.
- Pick and stage customer orders in an organized fashion applying first in first out method (FIFO) using a handheld barcode scanner.
- Ensure products are put away neatly and to the specifications of Inventory Control.
- Utilize the Shop Floor Data Collection Process live time for all functions; Communicate any count discrepancies live time to the Supervisor or Inventory Control.
- Participate in quarterly inventory and daily cycle counts.
Qualifications

What we require:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
- Minimum of 1 year of stand-up and pallet jacks forklift experience.
- Able to work 10pm - 6:30am.
- Stand-up Forklift Certification.
- Able to stay focused and alert at all times.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of basics math skills and auditing paperwork.
- A Team-player; must be able to collaborate and work with all employees in the organization.
- Able to carry out routine tasks with appropriate follow-up.
- Able to stand up for long periods of time; walk, bend, stoop, reach, and twist.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
