Role and Responsibilities

Baily Insurance is looking for an experienced Receptionist.​ Under general supervision, this position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative functions.​

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Be the frontline interaction, whether in-person or via phone/email, that makes people feel welcome, cared for, and excited to be working with Baily Insurance.

This includes:

  • Answer, triage, and distribute incoming agency phone calls in a way that shows care, gratitude, and joy
  • Review, sort, and scan mail into Agency Management Systems
  • Review, triage, and forward agency emails in an efficient manner
  • Increase efficiency, profitability, and customer service capability through a number of essential front-office needs:
  • Track employee time off requests
  • Manage postage meter
  • Send out the mail at the close of business
  • Order office supplies
  • Organize office activities/parties
  • Print and mail customer invoices

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Works closely with remote employees to assist in mailing customer communications
  • Assists with various sales and marketing activities
  • Scans documents and assists with Real Estate closings
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma with College Degree preferred
  • 2-5 Years Receptionist and administration experience

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience answering phone calls and operating phone systems
  • Positive team oriented attitude
  • Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Experience with postage machines and scanners
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Comfortable in flexible/​adaptable environment (work in other departments occasionally)

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
