The Dorm is looking for a part-time Receptionist for our Washington, DC office to work Monday through Friday 5-8pm. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills, is highly organized, is a self-starter and has a “can do” attitude. The position reports to the Director of Business Operations.

Job Description & Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for visitors and clients
  • Maintains office security and controls access to the facility managing deliveries and pick-ups
  • Is familiar with building contacts and safety procedures in order to handle emergencies in a calm and prompt manner
  • Assists in troubleshooting on-site technology (Zoom, Meeting Owl, Smart TVs, Wifi connectivity, printers etc.)
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor and management team including assisting with mail-outs, scanning correspondence, logging purchases, stocking office supplies, etc.


The ideal
candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Minimum of one year of experience
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday 5pm-8pm
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Demonstrates the highest level of professionalism at all times
