Receptionist / Patient Care Coordinator
We are looking to add another patient care coordinator to our team. This position requires a professional, responsible, friendly, motivated, and dependable person.
*Full-Time with full benefit package; Salary DOE*
**Additional quarterly bonus structure

Duties:
- Verifying insurance benefits and handling authorizations needs
- Filing
- Data entry
- Managing incoming/outgoing faxes
- Requesting medical records
- Keeping the medical office running efficiently by keeping organized
- Handling transactions and paperwork in a time-sensitive manner
- Collecting payments and keeping accurate documentation
- Marketing (including website development and newsletter creation)
- Making and answering phone calls

Additional Tasks:
- Electronic insurance billing and posting payments
- Assisting patients during intake
- Greeting and scheduling patients
- Monitoring and updating patient appointments, demographics, and insurance information
- Supply ordering

Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Products
Friendly personality; professional demeanor
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Attention to detail
Ability to follow through on tasks
Preferred:
- One year of previous experience in a similar role
- Management experience
- Experience with medical insurance authorizations
