Job Purpose and Impact

The Regional Sales Manager with the Diamond V ruminant business will, with guidance, sell directly to the business purchasers or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will conduct face to face and remote sales with new and existing customers, assist in evaluating customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions. Key Accountabilities
Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships. Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends. Protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with targeted customers. Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services. Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Responsible for achieving sales goals and maintaining expense budget

Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 - $140,000 per year. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience Minimum of two years of related work experience Ability to travel up to 75% and overnight travel up to 30% Proven ability to sell and/or provide technical service/support to dairies, nutritionist, and veterinarians Proficient in MS Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PPT, etc)

Preferred Qualifications Minimum of five years selling in the dairy industry or ruminant nutrition sales Job Information
