North East Ohio Network (NEON) is a council of government agency supporting county boards in the NE region of Ohio, serving children and adults who are at risk for or have a diagnosed developmental disability.

We are seeking a part-time RN to:

· Complete quality assessment reviews and Quality Assessment Review Tool in the format prescribed by Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD)

· Adult/Child CPR/FA/AED trainings;

· DODD Medication certification Trainings;

· Pre-Admission Screening and Resident Reviews (PASRR);

· Delegated Nursing.

Ability to work from home, but travel to various counties in Northeast Ohio is required. Salary commensurate with experience. NEON is an Ohio Public Employee Retirement System employer and at-will employment.

No nights, weekends, holidays, or stress from a hectic clinical environment. This position entails more teaching than clinical work. Required training specific to the DODD standards will be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Current RN Trainer Certification through DODD preferred or eligible to meet the following Registered nurse trainer requirements:

• Have a valid license with the Ohio board of nursing
• Have a minimum of eighteen months of fulltime /part time equivalent practicing as a registered nurse
• Have previous experience caring for an individual with developmental disabilities

· Have internet access and computer literacy for entering data in the medication administration information system database, receiving and sending electronic mail

· Experience with Nursing Delegation preferred

· Ability to work with limited supervision

· Strong interpersonal skills

24-29 hours per week; typically between the hours M-F 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; flexible and variable. There is the potential for this to become a full-time position in the future.

Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
