Allivet Pet Pharmacy is seeking Full-Time Registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our growing team. We need Registered Pharmacy Technicians to help complete the packing process. We offer a Non-Retail Pharmacy environment. Our organization is in high growth mode, which means advancement opportunities for individuals who are looking for career progression!
Essential Functions:

- Handle in-bound phone calls from veterinarians, customers and prospects.
- Contact veterinarian’s offices to obtain prescription approvals
- Provide excellent customer service via phone and email
- Ability to problem solve issues with a proactive approach
- Accurately enter prescriptions and or provide prescription status to customers and veterinarians in a friendly and professional matter.
- Respond to inquiries from veterinarians and customers by email or phone.
- Maintain an excellent working knowledge of all Allivet products, systems and businesses processes to understand and address veterinarians, customer inquiries and gather necessary information to answer questions or direct all calls to the correct destination on first attempt.
- Read, Interpret, and follow written instructions on prescriptions with accuracy, precision and dependability
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
- Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician
- Excellent (ENGLISH) communication skills, written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Pet Pharmacy or any experience working with animals is a plus
- Previous experience in a customer service role also highly required
- Proficient in the use of PCs with good keyboarding skills and able to type at least 35 wpm
- Knowledge of all Pharmacy Standards
- Basic math skills
