The Role

The primary purpose of the Research Associate I is to support AAV technical development studies through laboratory testing.

Job Responsibilities

    Execute methods (ELISA, PCR, UV/Vis, DLS, SDS-PAGE) to characterize AAV samples

    Support automation projects (CE, HPLC, AUC)

    Analyze data and report results to project leads

    Report results daily

    Review reports submitted by peers

    Buffer preparation

    Training on new methods

    Associates are part of a team that works collaboratively to characterize hundreds of samples each month.

    Their data supports technical development studies and investigations that support regulatory filings

    The research associate will report to a Tech Lead for Analytical Operations.

    The laboratory work is independent. Results are reported to a central database for peer review.

    The research associate will attend regular team meetings and data presentations

Required Qualifications

    BS. in Biological Sciences, Chemistry or equivalent

    Minimum 0-2 years of experience as research associate or equivalent

    Entry-level experience performing biological methods or analytical methods

Preferred

    Familiar with ALCOA+ Familiar with AAV

    Enthusiasm for work in a laboratory-based environment

Working Conditions

    The role is a laboratory position and requires associates to spend 60-75% of time in the lab.

    The role is M-F with flexible hours on-site.

    Data analysis, report submissions may be performed on-site or off-site.
