Summary of Duties:
The Residence Hall Operations Coordinator is a is a full-time, 12 month, live-in professional appointment, reporting to the Assistant Director of Housing Operations. The Residence Hall Operations Coordinator provides oversight of 4 area desks serving more than 4,500 students for their keys, mail, and room assignment needs. This position oversees all aspects of the room change process and termination process for first-year students, returning students, transfer students, international students, and other specific populations. This position serves as the summer hall Residential Education Director, supporting summer residents and assignments.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Must be willing and able to keep regular hours and work some evenings and weekends.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated computer software skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office programs, such as: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Sharepoint.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying laws, rules, policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting under-represented populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in College Student Personnel/Higher Education Administration/Counseling Psychology or a related field.
- Experience with HMS Odyssey or other Housing Management System.
- Experience with Intra or other mail management system.
- Experience with key management and oversight.
- Experience with conference or hospitality operations.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work well under stressful conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to work collegially and collaboratively with diverse internal and external constituencies.
- Demonstrated ability to work with students and administrators in a broad range of situations and demonstrate a genuine concern/interest for the welfare of students.
- Demonstrated communication skills, public relation skills, and public speaking skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of student development and academic success.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse student and staff population.

Monthly Salary:
$4,061.90 - $4,569.63 | Plus an additional $1,360.00 Room and Board perquisite.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
