The Residential Administrator answers directly to the Regional Director and directly supervises all staff of the houses under their direction. A bachelor’s degree in a social service or education field of study is preferred. 5+ years working with individuals with disabilities is preferred. 3+ years of supervising other employees in some capacity is preferred. This position requires some travel in the Columbia and Jefferson City area. Salary range is $48,000-52,000 and is compensatory with education and experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Conduct DDP activities and maintain logs for budgeted hours.

· Complete reviews of client home notes to ensure prescribed services are being provided and documented correctly.

· Physically visit each home under their supervision weekly, at a minimum.

· Complete and submit to the Regional Director and Director of Client Services, weekly report for each home.

· Ensure safety drills and water temperature checks are conducted within prescribed timeliness.

· Complete monthly progress reports for each client by the 10th of the following month.

· Meet with case managers in each of their homes monthly for service monitoring.

· Complete reconciliation of client funds in-house weekly.

· Collect, review, and submit all client Personal Spend documentation, including receipts by the 7th of the month.

· Collect, review, and submit all household room and board expenditures, including receipts by the 7th of the month.

· Monitor and maintain MARs for appropriate implementation of medication protocol and corresponding documentation (signatures/signed MARs).

· Monitor required medical documentation and visits (physical, vision, dental, PPD, etc.).

· Attend doctor’s appointments with/transport clients.

· Obtain and maintain current physician’s orders for all their client’s medications and adaptive equipment.

· Ensure staff are trained on the maintenance and utilization of all adaptive equipment as well as all tasks delegated by the community RN and ensuring weekly logs are kept on the maintenance of any adaptive equipment in the home.

· Complete EMT and/or Medication Error reports as necessary.

· Communicate with Community RN regarding issues or concerns.

· Review and sign off on Community RN monthly reports and file appropriately in client files.

· Ensure houses are clean and cleaning checklist is being implemented and documented.

· Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, and terminating staff.

· Ensure staff respond and submit all training documentation requested by the HR department in a timely manner.

· Become knowledgeable about training opportunities for staff and work with HR to coordinate needed training sessions.

· Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with all staff and foster a sense of camaraderie and team membership among all staff.

· Complete weekly time clock checks on staff under their supervision.

· Complete final check, making any adjustments necessary, and approve all their staff’s time in the timekeeping system.

· Collect and review mileage logs for all employees monthly.

· Identify immediately any issues or actions among staff that threaten a positive, professional work environment. Discuss issues immediately with supervisor and address appropriately and in a timely manner.

· Assist with development of staffing patterns based on approved budgets for clients.

· Monitor and supervise staff’s performance to ensure delivery of prescribed services in a consistent and professional manner and provide real-time positive and/or constructive feedback as well as remediative training to ensure staff competency.

· Assist with addressing staff concerns and performance issues and seek out internal candidates for promotion.

· Assist with budget development for new, changed, or annual budgets for all clients.

· Participate in client ISP meetings and assist in the development of their annual goals.

· Ensure that all needed forms for staff are in place as needed (mileage logs, PFFR’s, cleaning checklists, etc.).

· Assist with seeking out and acquiring new clients, including reviewing database for potential clients, speaking to Support Coordinators on behalf of Fidelis, and meeting with clients. Must be willing to travel for meetings.

· Communicate on an ongoing basis with Support Coordinators and other CMRO staff as needed.

· Assist in developing new homes, including speaking with realtors, utility companies and landlords, purchasing furniture and household supplies, arranging for moving, and possibly cleaning new residences.

· 24 hour on-call position that may require working a direct-care shift if staff call in and no coverage is found.

This position requires a great deal of independent work ethic. Must be able to set deadlines, organize workday independently, prioritize duties, and accomplish goals with minimal direct supervision.
