The Anchorage in the Village of West Greenville is seeking Support Staff.

The Anchorage Restaurant is looking forward to a busy Summer and will be hiring additional hosts and food runners.

Key Responsibilities

• Use strong communication and listening skills to effectively deliver accurate messaging to guests
• Have full understanding of all menu items and how each is properly prepared and served
• Acknowledge and positively engage all guests while managing guest expectations
• Have a general understanding of DHEC food safety standards
• Carry yourself with a warm, welcoming demeanor when interacting with guests and coworkers
• Derive pleasure from providing hospitality and exhibit excellent emotional self-awareness under pressure while maintaining a warm presence

What You Bring to the Table

• Hosting or Food Running experience
• Excellent food, wine and beverage knowledge or a desire to learn
• Initiative & follow through
• Excellent verbal & written communication
• Attention to detail
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
• Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
• Up to date with food and beverage trends and best practices
• Guest-oriented and service-minded

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
