Job description

As a Retail Sales Lead, you will assist with certain aspects of store operations, including but not limited to shift scheduling, training, sales/customer service, cash management, inventory transfers and counting/auditing.

A Sales Lead oversees a retail location's staff and activities to accomplish forecasted revenue for their assigned shift.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

* Implements and adjusts shift schedules and supervises the work of staff on their shift.

* Documents and addresses employee incidents as needed and in accordance with company policy.

* Oversees staff on duty during each shift.

* Maintains and motivates a positive team through communication and motivation

* Confirms daily cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly throughout the business day, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.

* Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks.

* Collaborates with store management team to develop, coordinate, and identify cost-effective strategies.

* Strong leadership and empathetic people management skills with ability to motivate staff.

* Thorough understanding of company policies and practices.

Education and Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Some college coursework preferred, but less formal education with more on-the-job experience may be substituted.

* At least two years of retail supervisory experience.

* Successful completion of company's sales lead training program.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
