Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Experience with IT security processes, such as Data Loss Prevention, Lifecycle Management, Vulnerability Management, and Business Continuity Planning.
- Track metrics and develop reporting around IT Security processes and functions to help the organization understand program status, gaps, concerns, etc.
- Manages vulnerability management process, processing data sources of vulnerabilities and facilitating remediation of findings to reduce risks for IT Shared Services.
- Experience with tools and techniques for risk and vulnerability assessment, threat modeling, and analyzing threats.
- Experience with data and statistical analysis, experience with spreadsheet software and presentation applications.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and translate them to actionable insights.
- Ability to Escalate to senior leadership any major concerns in regard to data in the organization due to security risk.
- Work in conjunction with the Enterprise Security team to lead the development and implementation of the Data Security program for the Enterprise from a compliance perspective.
- Participates in identifying security risks and exposures; researches potential causes of complex security violations at an advanced technical level.
- Develops, maintains, and applies relevant security policies and procedures to protect system from intentional or unintentional damage.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of the current controls relating to compliance and security requirements.
- Upgrades policies and procedures according to changing security requirements.
- Ensures that proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected.
- Build relationships with the key teams in the organization
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience in related discipline with 8+ years of experience
- Ability to recognize vulnerabilities in security systems, develop and facilitate remediation processes.
- Experience with tools and techniques for risk and vulnerability assessment, threat modeling, and data analytics, specifically: Tableau, Excel
- Preferred: Service Now, Alteryx
- Experience with spreadsheet software and presentation applications.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and translate them to actionable insights.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly and self-directed
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and leverage effective relationships with database administrators, data owners, security personnel, business leaders, stakeholders, and externally
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem solving, documentation, conceptual and analytical skills
- Able to work at high level of autonomy in a dynamic environment, with strong sense of personal accountability.
- Experience working in a complex, distributed enterprise environment
- Technology minded and a strong understanding of technology concepts
- Willingness to investigate and explore, driven by the desire to learn
