MAP Monitor/Nurse Supervisor
Job Summary
The MAP Monitor is responsible for providing MAP certification training to all residential staff. S/he will provide overall supervision of the medication rooms in all residential programs. S/he is responsible for all regulatory processes as they relate to medications. MAP and medication rooms and provide additional medical oversite to residents as necessary. S/he will supervise all agency nurses. Provide appropriate in-service training for relevant Agency personnel regarding general medical issues, basic First Aid training, Medication Administration, and OSHA training as needed.
Qualifications
- Requires a current R.N. License by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and MAP certification.
- Requires relevant R.N. experience with children and families, knowledge of residential and /or school treatment nursing and experience working with children of diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Requires reliable transportation, as attendance at meetings and multiple sites will be mandated.
- Requires current valid driver’s license.
