Job description

We are looking for a Safety professional to join our team and ensure the safety of our employees and workplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, and monitoring safety policies and procedures, conducting safety inspections, and providing safety training to employees. The Safety professional must have excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to think critically in order to identify potential safety risks.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits.
• Implement safety policies and procedures.
• Train employees on safety protocols and procedures.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root cause and corrective actions.
• Conduct safety meetings and provide safety training to employees.
• Monitor hazardous materials storage, handling, and disposal.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, accidents, and incidents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• OSHA: 2 years (Required)
• Construction Safety: 2 years (Required)

Language:

• Spanish (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• NCCER Certification (Preferred)
• OSHA 30 (Required)
