Nor-Cal Controls provides controls solutions for utility-scale renewable energy power plants, and we are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our stellar team! As the Sales Engineer, you will be advising our clients about our technical SCADA solutions and ensure that solutions detailed in our proposals meet all Nor-Cal technical standards. This position is open to in-office, hybrid, or 100% remote work options and the hiring salary range is $71,000 - $85,000 annually.

What a successful Sales Engineer will accomplish in the first 90 days:

• Analyze technical project specifications to ensure our solutions offered meet site requirements
• Answer requests for information (RFIs) regarding our proposed solutions for customers
• Understands the company’s products, solutions, and services
• Meet Nor-Cal’s Core Values

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (controls, electrical, mechatronics preferred), and 1+ years of SCADA solar PV experience or remote monitoring systems
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to analyze, understand, and extract from customer specs what should be applied to proposal templates
