General Summary

The frame stylist is there to help patients find glasses that meet their visual needs as well as their own personal style.

The primary role of our Technician is to assist the Optometrist in patient care including conducting pre-testing or special testing, documenting patient historical medical and ophthalmic information.

Functions:

There are many aspects of this position, and we are looking for a person who is eager to learn a new field which is very rewarding. We are looking for that person who can:

• Communicate clearly with doctors and patients to uncover the visual needs of the patient
• Flawless patient service promoting patient satisfaction
• To assist the patient in selecting the design prescription lenses to best match their correction
• Understanding and ordering of contact lenses
• Accurate and detailed computer entry while interacting with the patient in a fast-paced environment
• Processing orders and billing insurance
• Working as a team by assisting in other areas of the office, such as answering phones, verifying insurance, scanning charts, maintaining a clean office, checking patients in and out.
• Learning to adjust and properly fit frames
