JOB SITE IS IN FOREST GROVE OREGON

SHIFT HOURS: 12 hour shifts and 8 hour shifts

PAY: $22.00 Hourly, PART TIME 30 hours weekly

We are currently looking for officers who can perform on site security of designated areas on foot to ensure protection of clients, visitors, property and equipment. Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.

THIS JOB SITE HAS 5 MILES OF WALKING SOMETIMES MORE PER 12 HOUR SHIFT

• Must have current DPSST License in order to work as a Security Agent.
• Ability to report to dispatch any occurrences or concerns related to the job site.
• The ideal candidate must be customer service oriented, and enjoy interacting with the public.
• Prior Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is preferred, but applicants considering a career in Law Enforcement or with a Customer Service background are encouraged to apply
• The successful candidate is responsible for providing security services at assigned locations. Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Must be 18 years or older for on-site
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
• Must have access to reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a drug test with negative
• Must have ability to operate radio or telephone equipment Basic computer skills
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills
• Must have active listening skills
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
• Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to perform major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening and observing
• Ability and willingness to work days, evenings and/or weekends and holidays.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and persons
• Write detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports
• Enforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistance
• Foot patrol of interior/exterior areas of assigned locations
