G&R Hauling, family owned and operated! Hiring a tractor/trailer technician. Offering great pay and located in Bartow, FL. Work schedule will be a part time need for right now with incentive to go full time. Shift will vary, we need a tech after 4:00 pm during the week and every other weekend. Shop onsite at 3585 US 17 N Bartow, FL 33830.

Basic tractor / trailer skills needed. Basic knowledge of 12 volt wiring on trailer systems, able to diagnose ABS codes and issues, perform DOT and PM inspections, able to build a door, repair small patches on roof, and basic knowledge of semi trucks and their operation. Mechanic must have basic tooling for themselves to perform jobs, our company does not supply anything below 1" in tools. Outside of axle sockets.

Essential Functions

• Diagnose & repair light mechanical truck issues. Trailer repairs will be more in depth. Wheel seal, Brakes, tires, hoses, belt etc.
• Perform full wet p/m's on truck and trailer
• Help maintain and track tire program.
• Problem solving skills and good attitude are an absolute must have.

Job Type : Part time & full time available

First position - based upon knowledge and experience pay between $24 to $29 per hour. Hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm overtime is frequent.

Second position 9:00am to 5:00pm required to work every other weekend pay will be based on experience minimum pay is $18 potential to make $35.00

Both positions require mechanics to have basic tooling for themselves to perform jobs The company does not supply anything below 1 in tools. Outside of axle sockets
