Position Title: Senior Analyst, Finance - Distribution

Location: Newville, PA

Reports To: Sr Manager, Finance - Distribution

This position will partner with the operations and supply chain teams to drive profitable growth for the business. This role will help support the operations forecast and estimate process, the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process, budgeting, capital expenditure reporting, and special projects for the Newville Service Center. The applicant should be comfortable working in a fast paced, flexible environment. The ability to work across teams effectively is critical to the success of this position. This role has potential for expanded responsibilities and an opportunity for development and growth within the organization.

Duties Include:

  • Collaborate with business partners to forecast Capital Expenditures the Newville Service Center. This includes capitalization of assets, depreciation estimates, and timing of spend
  • Provide month-end reporting, variance analysis, and presentation support for results explanations to business partners, finance and supply chain leadership
  • Manage productivity reporting site projects
  • Support both internal and external audit requests
  • Assist with building the annual operations budget
  • Work with the department to support the implementation of new processes and process improvements as needed including documentation of processes and procedures.
  • Complete other ad hoc analysis and requests as needed



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance (or applicable internship experience)
  • Ability to problem solve autonomously
  • Detail oriented and strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Possess a thorough understanding of financial statements and relationships between the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
  • Cross-functional teamwork experience
  • Strong PC skills and proficiency with various applications; MS Access, MS Word, MS Excel required
  • Strong SAP and Oracle/Hyperion/Essbase experience a plus
