Position Title: Senior Analyst, Finance - Transportation

Location: Atlanta, GA

Reports To: Senior Manager, Finance - Transportation

Job Responsibilities:

Serve as a Senior financial analyst supporting the Global Supply Chan Supply Chain Finance team, focused on Transportation. Primary responsibility is to analyze transportation cost and partner with our 3PL partner.

Essential Duties:

• Support the accounting and reconciliation of transportation costs
• Assist with monthly variance walks to provide management with explanations compared to budget, latest estimate and prior year
• Work with GBS to resolve payment processing errors
• Assist with inquiries made by internal and external auditors
• Ad hoc close reporting as needed
• Special projects as required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounting/finance
• In depth knowledge of Excel, SAP and Hyperion a plus
• Understanding of GAAP
• Prior experience in consumer products environment preferred
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact within all levels of the organization and motivate others to accomplish common goals
• Knowledge of activities related to accounting month-end close such as accruals and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross functional departments
• Solid analytical, problem solving, communication and organizational skills
• Must be flexible and able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
