JOB SUMMARY
The Visulaization Engineer II is responsible for enhancing the user experience of TTI reporting through data visualtions (utilizing tools such as Power BI) to further drive data driven decision making for business units. This role will make data consumable and actionable through the curation of reports/dashboards, developing insights and providing recommendations to the business units. In this role, you will work closely with internal business units, data engineers, business analysts and other visualizations engineers to deliver extraordinary value.
RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS
- Translates business needs to analytical/technical requirements
- Story-telling with data using Power BI through interactive data visualization and aesthetic modeling.
- Enhances report designs to ensures key takeaways are clear and in alignment with our company strategy.
- Create game-changing visuals and insights for associates at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborates with key areas of the business to share best practices in reporting and visualizations.
- Efficiently manages multiple priorities and turns high priority requests around quickly, including ad hoc requests.
- Researches, recommends and utilizes best-in-class applications to deliver predictive visualizations.
- Actively measures outcomes and benefit realization of reports that are created.
- Completes quality checks of all reports and confirms data accuracy and reliability.
- Willing to work as part of a cross-functional team and deliver extraordinary value.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Education – B.S./B.A. in related discipline required. (i.e. Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.)
- 2-8 years’ designing, enhancing, and creating reports.
- Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, Quality, Marketing and Consumer Goods experience preferred
- Experience with Snowflake / Power BI / DAX / SQL / Python or other programming languages
- Portfolio preferred (demonstrated competency required)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Location: Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, SC
- Ability to travel. (10%)
- Experience with Service Now or other enterprise level ticketing systems preferred.
