Job Description
Job Summary
Reports to the Group Senior Vice President and is responsible for strategic and operational activities required to grow profits, cash flow, and market share for assigned markets within the region. Focused on the creation of a world-class sales and service-oriented operation. Drive forward the business strategy reflecting the company's principles and values and be accountable for the financial performance of assigned markets.
Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for strategic and operational activities required to grow profits, cash flow, and market share for assigned markets within the region
  • Drive forward the business strategy reflecting the company's principles and values
  • Accountable for the financial performance of assigned market and has significant impact on regional performance
  • Focused on the creation of a world-class sales and service-oriented operation
  • Act as a Stewart Ambassador within and outside of the company
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of own function or major operational segment as well as business and commercial expertise to differentiate Stewart from the competition
  • Partner with the Sales organization to develop and execute sales strategy and identify new sources of business to drive revenue growth
  • Participate in associations and appropriate lobbying efforts; understand industry developments and regulatory issues that impact the business; facilitate or attend seminars, workshops, and professional meetings
  • Promote the use of Human Resources for strategic organizational solutions
  • Responsible for talent management through recruiting, training, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning
  • Sponsor and communicate decisions and initiatives from leadership team, home office and Group Senior Vice President Office to the appropriate associate level
  • Supervise and mentor other Division Presidents to ensure the same job roles and objectives are accomplished in assigned divisions
  • Serve on assigned project teams and/or industry specific boards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Ability to travel frequently for the purposes of managing the assigned territory and visiting clients; travel estimated at 50%
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a Master’s preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years in the Title Industry which includes experience in a management role
