ABOUT THE JOB:

We are currently seeking a motivated and results driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, this person will provide regular and ad-hoc analysis to our senior management team by detailing business performance and analyzing future projections for the business, assist our business leaders in developing budgets and maintaining forecasts, and have the chance improve various internal processes as relating to the gathering of data and communication of analytics. The ideal candidate will have proven success in delivering new ideas, excellent communication skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other tools used in the FP&A function.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

What You'll Do as a Senior Financial Analyst:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, working closely with business partners to identify key drivers and assumptions
  • Analyze financial and operational results versus budget and forecast, investigate variances, and communicate findings to the management team
  • Utilize financial and operational data to create insightful and actionable reports, providing commentary and variance analysis as needed
  • Identify trends and potential areas for improvement within the organization, collaborating with business partners to develop action plans and drive process improvements
  • Collaborate with external reporting team in gathering the data necessary to report on the financial and operational position of the company to external shareholders
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You'll Need to be Successful in the role of a Senior Financial Analyst:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with complex formulas and pivot tables
  • Familiarity with Alteryx, Tableau, SAP, Oracle EPM, or other data analytics/visualization and financial planning software
  • Strong communication skills with senior leadership teams
  • MS Office Suite
  • B2B experience, previous experience in a mid-size company is a plus
  • High degree of attention to detail and organization
  • Collaborative and self-starter mentality

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, finance, accounting, or related field preferred, MBA a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting
