The Senior Material Handling Associate position performs a combination of stocking, cycle counting, data verification, and picking and issuing material from various material crib locations to manufacturing production floors. Must be able to perform in a dynamic high paced manufacturing environment and manage changing priorities as assigned by manufacturing lead. Work tasks must be completed in a timely manner and the quality of the work must be accurate. What you bring to the table:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Ability to lift heavy items and potentially operate a forklift
- Clear knowledge of the enterprise software and associated data
- Clear knowledge of material planning, control and inventory methodology
What sets you apart:
- Ability to track, expedite, and pick material shortages to the manufacturing floor
- Ability to complete work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice
- Ability to readily handle unexpected demands and adapt to new situations
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Computer skills to proficiently handle your routine tasks
