Senior .Net Developer

Location: Jackson, MS

Duration: 4 Years

Rate: DOE

This position is for a senior level Microsoft .Net Developer, who will also have responsibilities as a development team lead and customer liaison.

The individual will be required to have demonstrable experience developing for customers in the state government sector, and an understanding of required business workflows for those customers.

This individual will be asked to participate and perform at every level of the development life cycle, including but not limited to, requirements gathering, design, development, testing/QA, implementation, training, and maintenance.

This individual will be expected to manage tasks, time, and resources for a small group of application developers (3 to 8), while doing the more advanced development work and keeping the overall projects on track.

Key Skills Required

• IT experience : 12
• Hands on application development skills with the following software:
• ASP.NET utilizing Web Forms (Not MVC)
• VB.NET – Must have VB.NET. Additional experience in C# is acceptable but not as a replacement for VB.NET
• C#
• Visual Studio 2010 or later
• SQL Server 2008 or later
• JavaScript
• HTML
• XML
• Crystal Reports Designer
• Team Foundation Server/GIT Source Code Management
• JSON
• Bootstrap
• Rational ClearCase/ClearQuest
• Other development skills required:
• Data conversion/migration (excluding DTS & SSIS migration packages)
• Web Services –WCF (Both Developing & Consuming WCF Web Services)
• SQL Server 2008 or later Administration
• IIS Administration

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $86,451.52 - $150,215.75 per year
