The Opportunity

BETA is a self-clearing securities processing solution for wealth management firms. Built on years of expert knowledge and hands-on experience, BETA provides critical back-office controls including corporate action management, middle office exception management, and front office account management and trading tools for advisors.

We are currently seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Data Delivery Solutions Team. The ideal candidate is expected to evolve and grow our suite of financial products to meet the changing needs of our clients in support of the ever evolving and increasing demand in the industry. This role will influence a cross functional project team and provide product direction to develop conceptual design, market and competitive analysis and evaluate product performance to determine necessary product enhancements or changes.

Role Responsibilities

• Align to Proposition vision- Responsible for the product vision of key capabilities, socializing and collaborating with key team members across the organization.
• Be the business leader responsible for crafting the client experience and driving the execution of products.
• Update and evolve the business plan for each product, as well as partner, marketing, and client growth strategies.
• Translate strategic direction into measurable project plans.
• Lead the collections of current and future business needs for products.
• Customer research- informed product decisions with both qualitative and quantitative data on behavior and experimentation.
• Support for core operational back-office processing capabilities to support an industry leading front/middle/back-office service provider platform.
• Experience in quantitative analysis; able to deep dive into the numbers and provide insightful recommendations.
• Define goals, plan, resource requirements, risks, and contingency plans.
• Assign, coordinate and manage results across multiple internal and external partners.
• Translate business needs into prioritized technical features and develop and maintain a refined product backlog.
• Leads significant projects, programs, and business initiatives, demonstrating creativity and ingenuity.
• Determines work priorities based on general direction from managers.
• May manage budget for projects or programs within area.
• Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts and Business Unit strategy.
• Represents specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Minimum of 5-7 years product management experience; financial services experience is required with a focus on providing support for a front, middle and back-office service provider platform.
• Deep knowledge of Cloud Delivery Solutions (AWS), APIs, and Technical Architecture.
• Experience with SQL and/or Kinesis preferred.
• Ability to lead other product managers, business analysts, and developers in project related work.
