Grundfos is seeking an experienced Senior Quality/Reliability Engineer to join its Quality Systems team. The Senior Quality/Reliability Engineer will be responsible for conducting and directing Quality Engineering and Reliability activities in support of Grundfos products and processes. This position will report directly to the Senior Quality Manager who reports directly to the Plant Director. The Quality department supports three autonomous production units within the plant. This is a Hybrid position that will operate out of the Fresno, CA facility. Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support.

What is the job about?

• Responsible to improve and provide technical support of the Integrated Management Systems -S1 Quality Management Processes.
• Coordinate and monitor (SCC) safety critical characteristic audit effectiveness.
• Ensuring completions of (LPA) layered process audits are conducted throughout the plant.
• Ensure corrective actions for any and all audit findings are completed on-time through daily follow up as necessary.
• Train and maintain our internal audit team to ensure we have adequate coverage of auditors throughout the plant.
• Implement RCCA’s proactively for any of the four areas above that aren’t meeting expectations.
• Interface with customers on Quality and Reliability issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction and continuous improvement.

What do you need to apply?

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree, required; master’s degree preferred. Minimum 10 years’ experience in a closely related field desired. In-depth experience in manufacturing processes, documentation, and process control methods.

• Experienced in implementing and utilizing SPC, Six Sigma Methodology, as well as other tools of Total Quality, including statistical analysis, PFME, 8D problem solving methods and MSA’s.
• Experienced in the use of personal computer systems and related software systems.
• Experienced in implementation and assessment of ISO 9001 or other Quality systems.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be a Certified Trainer via the Group O.E. train-the-trainer course or obtain certification within 1 year of accepting position
• Possess an ISO 9001-QMS Lead Auditor certificate to conduct internal auditor training or obtain certification within 1 year of accepting position
• ASQ- certified Quality Engineer preferred
• Green Belt Certification required; Black Belt preferred.
• Proven record demonstrating strong skills related to safety and quality.
• Ability to work in SAP and suggest appropriate changes
• Ability to work in production / manufacturing environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and direction.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to learn how to work with data using BI Tools, Basic Excel, and SAP.
• Ability to travel including internationally may be required.

The midpoint of the pay range for this position is $126,600.00 annually. Actual pay will depend upon skill set, experience, and location.
