In search of an SENIOR Scheduler for immediate work in theGulf Coast Area. This position is LONG TERM (1.5+ years). Schedule will be 5x10 or 12 hour shifts during TAR. P6 experience is required.

What’s the role -

The Scheduler position is primarily responsible for the planning and scheduling deliverables for a single block or a multi-block TA at the site and will work within a team of TA planners/schedulers to deliver the successful outcome of the turnaround. This role participates in a multi-discipline, cross-functional team responsible for progress against work process milestones, identifying performance gaps, taking action to mitigate gaps and escalating issues when warranted.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and maintain Level 1 and Level 2 corporate schedules
• Setup/build Level 1-5 schedule for Estimating and Field purposes
• Work with Planner to clean up and input plans into schedule
• Responsible for maintaining database and user assignments
• Run resource histograms
• Self-motivated, organized, ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Work well in a fast paced team environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to pass drug screen.
• Must be able to pass background check.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must have transportation to and from job site.
• Must be able to establish and maintain good working relationships with other employees.
• Strong knowledge of turnaround work processes, Phases and deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• This position requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Primavera.
• 8 years’ experience in the petro-chemical industry is required.
• 8 years’ experience as a planner/scheduler is required.
• Knowledge of maintenance business processes and best practices, roles of specific trades, and manufacturing processes in a Refinery or similar Petrochemical operation.
• Strong verbal/written communication.
• A passionate commitment to Safety and the Environment.
• Speak and write fluently in English.

Preferably LOCAL / PerDiem offered if requirements met

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
