Freedom Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Software Developer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that extends through 2026 and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. . Join a team providing Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) and modernization activities for an enterprise document storage solution supporting mission-critical functions that provides the ability to capture document images and metadata for record keeping purposes
. The candidate must be a strong senior developer that is comfortable digging into COTS (Perceptive Content) products and developing a subject matter expertise, tackling challenges sometimes without a lot of guidance or information, and collaborating in a fast-paced, highly visible team environment
. The primary responsibilities of this role require maintaining and enhancing complex operational software systems, interacting with Government project leadership on priorities, developing task estimates, and providing input to Government roadmaps
. Other activities include conducting upgrades, debugging existing software and correcting defects; integrating existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments; investigating and analyzing user problems and identifying potential solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • A bachelor’s degree and twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering. Sixteen (16) years of software development experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience with JavaScript and XML
  • Understanding of Linux server environment
  • Willingness to embrace challenges and seek to become an expert in the products
  • Experience with COTs integration
  • Experience developing and updating technical documentation
  • Skilled in problem solving and troubleshooting computer systems and software

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience closely collaborating with the Government customer
  • Experience managingsystems hosted in virtual environments such asAWS
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience the with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence& Jira
  • Experience with Perceptive Content or any content management or workflow management suite
